after checking available linetipes (show linetypes) I see. I want to use for example linetype 10 (inversed triangle) but I got the asterisk (linetype 3). According to 'test', this terminal includes at least 15 linetypes (in fact, 8 colors and 17 different symbols) wxt test. As we do in merging plots in rows, we have to align them setting the y axis label but plotting the label outside canvas. Alternatively, you may use the -Sx,y switch of the print command the two approaches are equivalent, but I think changing the figure properties is more rewarding and definitely more general, hence powerful. I am using gnuplot version 5.4 patchlevel 6 with terminal wxt enhanced. If you wish to instead create the figure to have correct size directly in Octave, you should use the papersize property: h = figure() However, this does not necessarily look nice, because the image will not be of appropriate scale: text might be minute, figure illegible, etc. Set the fonts for labels of x- and y-axis: set xtics font 'Verdana,10'. weights and C is the symmetric variance-covariance matrix of 20x20 size. Several methods are available for Gnuplot: Set the global fonts size for the terminal: set terminal enhanced font 'Verdana,10'. This worked throughout my LaTeX-aware life. Our QP solver uses an active set method, and can be used to solve programs. So, the solution I can present you is to set the size manually, and adjust the margins from within gnuplot with e.g. I don't know a way to cut off the margins automatically, this would require a crop option for the gnuplottex package. Where the ! fills the missing height to keep the overall proportions constant. In order to set the canvas size, you must pass a size option to gnuplot.
